Gluten Free? There’s an App for That!

Ever thought about downloading a gluten-free app on your phone?  The other day it randomly crossed my mind, so I decided to search for one.  I typed “gluten free” into the app store on my iphone and about a dozen GF apps came up!  I decided to download two of the free apps: “Find Me Gluten Free”, which searches for GF restaurants/menus around you, and Tracy Corkett’s “Gluten Free”, that gives an alphabetized, detailed list of ingredients and tells you whether or not they are GF!  This has already come in handy when I’ve been at the grocery store, looking at ingredient names I can’t pronounce and have no clue what it is.  Well, now, there’s an app for that!  When you’re out of town or exploring a new neighborhood, there’s an app to find GF friendly menus.  Hooray!
