Gluten Free Options at Panera Bread

Panera Bread is a good, reliable, easy place to grab a fairly healthy meal.  Whether you’re ordering a salad to-go, or plan to enjoy their refillable coffee and wifi while studying, it is a great option with a variety of gluten-free choices. In fact, I’m working on a group project tonight at our local Panera.  There is always an ingredients book behind the front counter for you to check to see if your salad and/or soup is safe to eat, but I decided to save us all some time and comprise a list here.  Below is our *GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS AT PANERA.


Hidden Menu (Surprise!  Did you know this exist?  I didn’t until now):

-Power Breakfast Egg Bowl with Steak

-Power Chicken Hummus Bowl

-Power Mediterranean Chicken and Power Mediterranean Roasted Turkey

-Power Steak Lettuce “Wraps”


-Low fat Vegetarian Black Bean

-Vegetarian Autumn Squash topped with Pumpkin Seeds


-BBQ Chicken


-Fiji Apple Chicken (a personal favorite)


-Chicken Cobb with Avocado (another personal favorite-anything with avocado is going to be good 🙂 )


-Baked Potato Chips and Kettle Chips

-Healthy options:  Apple and seasonal fruit cup


Sometimes Panera is better than making dinner.  I hope that one day soon they’ll also have gluten-free bread for their sandwiches! Enjoy!
